Community Outreach Recovery Ministry Volunteers reaching out to help rebuild the community as people continue to return post-Katrina. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. Acts 2:43-47

We are excited that God has blessed us with a larger facility so that we can continue our ministry and hopefully reach even more people. Pray that this transition will go smoothly. Beginning on Saturday, February 10th, our new location will be at the New Orleans Mission on Oretha Castle Haley and Calliope Streets. All of the times will remain the same, but hopefully more services will be added in the future now that we have more space.

This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. 1 John 3:16-19
